Tucked away within a peaceful cul-de-sac in the ever-popular Newton Farm development, this beautifully presented home offers stylish walk-in interiors, generous living space and a fantastic south-facing garden with uninterrupted privacy to the rear. With excellent transport links and a wonderful community atmosphere, it's easy to see why homes here are so sought after.
Five things our current owners love about their home:
1. Our garden. Our south facing garden feels peaceful and private, with no neighbours to the back of us. It has an outdoor wifi booster and an outdoor socket. It's the perfect place to host friends and family, do a bit of work outside, or relax in the sun.
2. The location. We love the location of our house, a quiet cul-de-sac so we don't get a lot of foot traffic passing through. It's only an 8 minute walk to Newton Train Station from our back gate. It's approx. 20 minutes by train into the city centre. There are shops within walking distance, as well as the local pub.
3. Our living room. Our spacious living room is where we spend most of our time, hosting or relaxing on the sofa.
4. The storage space. We have 2 large cupboards (one on each floor) and we've also floored half of our loft which gives us a great amount of storage space.
5. The community. Newton Farm is such a friendly area with a lot of kind neighbours. If you need help, there will always be someone in the area that will come to your rescue. There's a local Facebook group for residents where you can ask for advice, find local trades, and find out more about different events on in the area.
Inside, the property has been beautifully maintained and offers bright, modern interiors throughout. The spacious lounge is undoubtedly the heart of the home, providing plenty of room for relaxing with family or entertaining guests. The tasteful decor and generous proportions create a space that feels both stylish and comfortable.
To the rear, the kitchen diner offers excellent storage and workspace while providing plenty of room for everyday dining. Neutral finishes keep the room feeling bright and fresh, and direct access to the garden makes indoor and outdoor living effortless during the warmer months.
Upstairs, the accommodation is thoughtfully arranged with three well-proportioned bedrooms. The principal bedroom benefits from its own en suite, while the remaining bedrooms provide flexibility for children, guests or those working from home.
Storage is another standout feature, with large cupboards on both floors and additional loft storage already created by the current owners.
Outside, the south-facing rear garden is a fantastic space to enjoy throughout the year. With no neighbours directly behind, it offers a peaceful and private setting for relaxing, entertaining friends or simply enjoying the sunshine. Practical additions including an outdoor socket and WiFi booster make the space even more versatile.
Newton Farm continues to be one of Cambuslang's most desirable developments thanks to its family-friendly setting and excellent transport links. Newton Train Station is within walking distance, offering regular services into Glasgow city centre in around 20 minutes. Local shops, amenities and popular walking routes are all nearby, while residents benefit from a strong community spirit that makes the area so special.
