Located just a couple of miles South of the River Clyde, Shawlands is a popular area that offers something to suit everyone. With a population of 7000 Shawlands has an abundance of popular restaurants including “Battlefield Rest” which offers fantastic British food and "Sapori d'Italia" which has a range of fantastic Italian foods.

In terms of transport Shawlands has close links to the M77 and M8 motorways. There is also the local train station which has direct links to the city centre terminating at Glasgow Central Station. Journey times to the city centre are around 20 minutes.

Silverburn Shopping Centre is only a 12-minute drive from Shawlands, and it offers a range of fantastic shops from Hugo Boss to H&M, LEVI’S, and M&S. It also has several wonderful restaurants such as Five Guys and Tony Macaroni’s, a PureGYM, a Cineworld and of course, The Upload Abode Property Pod.
